Washington Woodland Estate, formerly known as The Bear's Lair, is a five to six-acre country estate located just a few miles from downtown Gig Harbor, Washington. The property features lush gardens and a serene atmosphere, designed for comfort and relaxation. Guests can enjoy the grounds, warm themselves by the fire pit, or explore the nearby attractions of Gig Harbor, which include boutiques, dining, and access to state and city parks like Olympic National Forest.

The Estate offers various accommodations, including three rooms in the Manor House, the Rose Room, the Dahlia Room, and the Azalea Room, each with private baths, and two with private patios. The self-contained Carriage House provides a more private experience with a kitchen, laundry, deck, and a two-person hot tub.

Complimentary high-speed internet access is provided for guests. Breakfast is a highlight at the Estate, made fresh daily with local ingredients and served in the Chef's Kitchen. Guests should indicate if they will be joining for breakfast at the time of booking, as additional charges apply.

Mark and Donna McNeal purchased and redeveloped the property in 2019, redecorating and upgrading both the Manor House and Carriage House. The Estate maintains a Google rating of 4.9 stars based on 67 reviews, reflecting its commitment to guest comfort and satisfaction.
