Expressions Music

Expressions Music provides personalized music instruction in Gig Harbor. Led by Mary Alice Salciccia, the studio utilizes "Mary's Method," a teaching approach designed to custom-fit lessons to each student's unique needs. This method focuses on building a strong musical foundation, fostering confidence, and developing skills in areas such as rhythm interpretation, sight-reading, improvisation, harmonization, composition, and playing by ear.

The studio offers private and group instruction for a wide range of instruments, including piano, string, and woodwind instruments. Lessons cater to all ages, styles, and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. Mary Alice Salciccia brings over 35 years of teaching and performing experience to her studio, having taught across several states before establishing her practice in Gig Harbor in 1983.

Lesson programs are typically structured around a month of four 30-minute sessions. Specific options include a "Month One or Crash course" for new students and ongoing private lessons. Group sessions are also available for those who prefer a more social learning environment, and specialized instruction in areas like composing and arranging can be arranged.
