PIANO LAB

PIANO LAB, located at 6220 Whitmore Drive Northwest in Gig Harbor, Washington, provides comprehensive piano instruction for individuals across all ages and abilities. The studio emphasizes a personalized approach, ensuring each student receives tailored guidance. Instruction covers more than just basic piano playing, extending to areas such as piano playing biomechanics, healthy technique, ensemble playing, collaborative piano, music theory, arranging, composition, sight-reading, basic improvisation, music listening, appreciation, and performance.

Founded by Craig Walstead, a professional Piano Instructor since 2011, PIANO LAB is dedicated to fostering a lifelong passion for music. Craig Walstead is an award-winning musician with a background in local, national, and international music competitions and performances across the United States and Europe. He has studied injury-preventive piano technique through the Golandsky Piano Institute.

Enrollment at PIANO LAB includes weekly private lessons, group lessons, recitals, and various other musical events and opportunities. Students interested in enrolling are invited to contact the studio to set up a meeting or audition.
