Peninsula High School Theater

Peninsula High School Theater is the award-winning theater department located in Gig Harbor, Washington. The program operates out of the Milton S. Boyd Performing Arts Center at Peninsula High School. Its mission is to develop personal and theatrical excellence, aiming to inspire, educate, entertain, and reflect the human experience through its productions.

The department presents a variety of shows, including full-scale musicals and dramatic plays. Recent productions have included *Legally Blonde The Musical* and *Hamlet* performed as a Reader's Theater. These performances provide students with opportunities in acting, technical theater, and collaborative arts. An Artistic Director, Production Manager, Vocal Director, and Pit Orchestra Director guide the students.

Grounded in a comprehensive performing arts program, Peninsula High School Theater encourages student involvement through a student-led Theatre Council and support from a Volunteer Parent Organization (VPO).
