Harbor Montessori School

Harbor Montessori School provides private school education rooted in the Montessori philosophy for children from eight weeks through eighth grade. The Gig Harbor campus, established in 1981, is fully accredited by both the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS). This campus specifically offers programs for infants through sixth grade.

The school focuses on nurturing the whole child through intentional academic guidance, purposeful learning environments, and community support. Its curriculum places the child's natural curiosity at the center of learning. They maintain small class sizes with individualized lessons and integrate modern research into their high-fidelity Montessori education.

The Gig Harbor campus is set on 4.5 acres, featuring four playgrounds, an outdoor classroom, two fields, and a community garden. Programs include Infant (8 weeks-18 months), Toddler, Early Childhood, Lower Elementary (1st-3rd grade), Upper Elementary, and Junior High. Before and after school care is also available.
