Chapel Hill Church

Chapel Hill Preschool has been serving families in Gig Harbor, Washington since 1962, providing a Christ-centered environment for young children. The preschool welcomes children from two years old through Pre-K. All children must be potty trained for enrollment in the main programs.

The program emphasizes play-based learning to develop social, emotional, and early academic skills. It incorporates a weekly chapel, a dedicated STEM exploration room, music and movement, and daily opportunities for active play, including an indoor gym. The curriculum includes HighScope as a foundation, with the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum and Handwriting Without Tears used in the Pre-K classes.

Safety measures include a locked preschool wing and security cameras. The teaching staff are highly qualified, holding degrees and certifications in early childhood education. While located within a church building, the preschool operates as an independent program and welcomes families of all backgrounds and beliefs, focusing on creating an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued.
