Hosanna Christian School

Hosanna Christian School, established in 1982, provides a Christian education for students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. The school's mission is to nurture each student spiritually, intellectually, creatively, and physically in a loving Christian environment. This approach is designed to help students live to glorify God.

The curriculum includes the Abeka program, supplemented with other resources, integrating a Christian worldview across all subjects. For Pre-K and Kindergarten, studies include Bible, phonics, reading, math, cursive writing, science, and social studies. Grades 1-8 continue with core subjects like Reading, Math, History, Science, Health, and Language, alongside Bible studies, composition, technology skills, physical education, and art. Students consistently perform above state and national averages on standardized tests.

Class sizes are typically 12-18 students, allowing for individualized attention. Pre-K classes usually have 10 or fewer students. The school offers a range of activities including Chapel, field trips, and student clubs to enrich the learning experience. Junior High students also have the opportunity to participate in a Washington D.C. class trip every other year.

Hosanna Christian School is located at 3114 45th Street Court NW, Gig Harbor, Washington. School hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, with before and after school care available.
