The Beer Vault & Wine Bar

The Beer Vault & Wine Bar is a family-owned taproom in Gig Harbor, Washington, established by Hal and Ronda Haase in an old KeyBank branch. The space has been thoughtfully renovated to include indoor seating and an outdoor patio with views of the Purdy Spit. Unique elements from the former bank, like the old red bank phone and safe deposit boxes, are incorporated into the decor.

The bar features 12 rotating taps of craft beer and cider, along with seltzers and non-alcoholic options. Guests can also choose from a selection of wines, available by the glass or bottle, including labels like Caymus, Justin, and DeLille Cellars. The menu now includes food items such as soft pretzel sticks, sandwiches like the Beef on Weck, salads, and artisan pizzas, with gluten-free and dairy-free options for pizzas.

This spot is known for its welcoming environment, offering board games, outdoor games, and multiple TVs. Families are welcome until 6 PM, after which it becomes an adult-only venue. It is also notably dog-friendly, with dogs permitted both inside and on the patios, and a special "Woof Wall" displaying photos of canine visitors.

The Beer Vault hosts various weekly events, including Music Bingo, Trivia on Thursdays, Open Mic Nights, and Live Music. They also offer "Winesday" specials with discounts on wine glasses and bottles.
