Finholm's Market & Grocery

Finholm's Market & Grocery has been a staple in Gig Harbor since John Finholm purchased and renamed the store in 1935. Originally combining a grocery store and meat market, it has evolved into a local gathering spot. The building was restored in 2015 by Finholm's daughter, Teddi Hester, and her husband, Monte, who also commissioned a historical mural.

Today, Finholm's offers a wide array of deli items, including fresh sliced sandwiches and pizza. It is also known for its extensive beverage selection, featuring over 400 off-sale beers, more than 30 hard ciders, over 500 wines, and 13 rotating taps for draft pints.

Beyond groceries and specialty foods, Finholm's features a waffle bar and an actual bar on-site. The market hosts regular community events such as Trivia Night every Wednesday and Open Mic Night every other Friday.

Finholm's Market & Grocery maintains its historical charm while providing a place for friends to gather over drinks and snacks.
