Local Boys

Local Boys of Gig Harbor, owned by Robert and Trevor Jones (father and son), brings fresh produce and specialty foods to the community. Robert Jones previously owned Tacoma Boys Fruit Stand for over four decades before starting Local Boys in 2002. The market is located near the Purdy Bridge, at 6702 Tyee Drive Northwest.

Beyond a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, Local Boys carries a variety of other items. Shoppers can find Northwest beef, chicken, fresh wild seafood, live crab, shrimp, and scallops. The market also offers Washington wines, a range of cheeses, and flowers. Many popular house-made products are available, including Sweet and Sassy Salsa, homemade tortilla chips, preserves, syrups, and pickled vegetables.

Local Boys features a taproom with 40 taps dedicated to Washington beer, cider, and mead, alongside a selection of over a thousand cans. The market provides seasonal items like Christmas trees and wreaths, and offers online ordering with curbside pickup. They also ship products across the USA.
