Spruce Hill Winery, Gig Harbor

Spruce Hill Winery's Gig Harbor tasting room opened in January 2026, offering a welcoming space to enjoy handcrafted Washington wines. The tasting room is inspired by the Pacific Northwest, with forest tones, mountain-inspired textures, and a large community table for guests. It features a rotating selection of art from local artists in partnership with the Peninsula Art League.

The winery, owned by Mark and Jo Bader, produces small-batch, fruit-forward Washington wines. Grapes are sourced from Eastern Washington vineyards, primarily within the Yakima Valley corridor. Offerings include a range of whites like Albariño and reds such as Grenache, Mourvèdre, and the Rainforest Red Bordeaux-style blend. Guests can choose from themed tasting flights, build their own flight, or enjoy wines by the glass. Bottles are also available for purchase.

Small bites complement the wine selection, including charcuterie boards with meats and local cheeses, warm bread, and savory snacks. A rotating selection of local beer and non-alcoholic beverages is also available. Spruce Hill Winery welcomes guests of all ages. The space can accommodate private events for up to 28 guests. Reservations are accepted for parties of 2 to 6 people, and walk-ins are also welcome.

The Gig Harbor tasting room is located at 5229 Olympic Drive, Suite B, across from Harbor Greens. Free 2-hour parking is available in front, with additional parking south of the tasting room after 5 PM on weekdays and throughout weekends. Current operating hours are Thursdays 3-8 PM, Fridays 3-8 PM, Saturdays 2-8 PM, and Sundays 2-7 PM, with last seating 30 minutes before closing.
