Valo Wine - Tacoma Tasting Room

Valo Wine's Tacoma Tasting Room, located in the Proctor District, provides a stylish and relaxed setting to experience their Washington wines. The tasting room showcases both Valo and Massalto labels, offering a range from traditional styles to more unconventional blends. Wines are available for tastings, by the glass, or by the bottle.

Co-owned by Michael Ruhland and winemaker Matías Kúsulas, Valo Wine emphasizes both world-class winemaking and chef-driven hospitality. Matías Kúsulas was recognized as the 2024 Washington Winemaker of the Year by the International Wine Report.

For food, the tasting room offers flatbreads, cheese, charcuterie, and light snacks. Chef Michael Ruhland also hosts monthly wine dinners. The space features an industrial feel with concrete bars and custom wood tables, along with large windows.

The Tacoma tasting room is open Monday through Thursday from 2-9 PM, Fridays and Saturdays from 12-9 PM, and Sundays from 12-7 PM.
