Gateway Park

Gateway Park, located in Gig Harbor, Washington, is a comprehensive outdoor recreation area managed by Key Pen Parks. The park provides numerous amenities for families and individuals. Visitors can enjoy a large playground equipped with slides, swings, climbing structures, and zip lines. During the summer months, the Scott Gallacher Memorial Spray & Play Park, a popular splash pad, operates from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, typically from 10 AM to 6 PM, weather permitting.

The park features green spaces with walking trails and serves as the main trailhead for the 360 Trails system. These multi-use trails are suitable for walkers, equestrians, and mountain bikers, with a main loop taking about an hour to walk. Gateway Park also includes two separate fenced off-leash areas for dogs, one for all dogs and another for smaller or shy dogs.

Additional facilities at the park include a picnic pavilion available for rent or on a first-come, first-served basis, picnic tables, and restrooms. The park offers abundant parking, including spaces for trailers. Gateway Park is open daily from 7 AM to legal sunset. It serves as a community hub, hosting various events like the Family Fun Fest.
