Adam Tallman Park

Adam Tallman Park provides an 11.84-acre natural wetland area for passive use and wildlife observation in Gig Harbor, Washington. Acquired in 2001, the park is named after Adam Tallman, the father of Jim Tallman who developed the adjacent plat. It serves as a peaceful escape for local residents.

Visitors can explore a network of walking trails that weave through the wetlands. A prominent feature is a mostly paved, approximately half-mile path, making it accessible for many. Along the trails, interpretive signs offer insights into the local flora and fauna, and viewing platforms provide opportunities for birdwatching and spotting ducks, frogs, and turtles in the ponds.

The park features on-site parking for convenience. While it offers a calm environment for nature walks, there are no public restrooms available. Like other city parks in Gig Harbor, Adam Tallman Park is open from dawn to dusk, and dogs are permitted on a leash. The trail does cross Wagner Way Northwest, so visitors should use caution at the marked crosswalk.
