Cushman Trail - Grandview Trailhead

The Grandview Trailhead serves as an access point to Gig Harbor's Cushman Trail, a paved, non-motorized route stretching approximately 6.2 miles. This trail is a popular local spot for various activities, including walking, jogging, running, and bicycling. The trail's surface is 12 to 16 feet wide, accommodating different users, and it includes sections with mixed grades, some reaching up to a 10% incline.

At the Grandview Trailhead, visitors will find restrooms, dedicated parking, a picnic table, benches, and a drinking fountain. Along the trail itself, there are additional benches, trash receptacles, and emergency locator signage every half mile for safety. The Cushman Trail operates from 7 AM to dusk, and leashed dogs are welcome.

The trail traverses areas of scenic beauty, offering glimpses of wildlife and forest surroundings. Maintained jointly by the City of Gig Harbor and PenMet Parks, it is an integral part of the regional trail network.
