Rotary Bark Park

Rotary Bark Park is a 97-acre natural area in Gig Harbor, WA, managed by PenMet Parks. It includes a 15-acre off-leash dog area with over one mile of fenced trails. The larger property offers more than three miles of trails for hikers, bicyclists, and horseback riders, where dogs must be on a leash.

Visitors can find picnic tables, a shade shelter, waste bags, and a water faucet. Portable restrooms and paved parking are also available. Parking is designated across the street in the Pierce County Fire District parking lot, adjacent to the Gig Harbor Fire Station headquarters.

The park was named in recognition of the Gig Harbor Rotary's contributions to PenMet Parks and the community. CHEW (Canine Health Education and Welfare group) has also supported the park with funding. The trails are used by local high school running teams, as well as community walkers and runners.
