Soundview Forest Park

Soundview Forest Park, formerly known as Bobber Park, is located at 2905 Harborview Drive in Gig Harbor. It is a well-kept city park that provides a natural escape within the downtown area.

The park features a series of twisty trails suitable for leisurely walks, light runs, or simply connecting with nature. Visitors appreciate the lush vegetation and the peaceful atmosphere, with some finding it ideal for quiet contemplation among the trees. The trails are short and well-maintained.

Soundview Forest Park offers shady picnic spots and several benches for relaxation. It is a dog-friendly area where leashed pets are welcome to explore the wooded landscapes with their owners. The city acquired this 2.5-acre wooded area in 2018 to preserve over 300 trees, many of which are around 100 years old.

City parks are generally open from dawn to dusk. For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, alcohol, smoking, and unleashed dogs are prohibited.
