Gig Harbor Pierce County Library

The Gig Harbor Pierce County Library is a central resource for books, audiobooks, DVDs, music, and magazines, serving the community seven days a week. It offers public computers, laptops, Wi-Fi, printing, scanning, and copying services. Patrons can also reserve meeting and study rooms for individual or group use.

The library supports various learning and development needs with one-on-one librarian appointments, free access to databases, market research tools, language learning resources, and LinkedIn Learning. It provides basic computer and tech help, alongside literacy programs covering digital, financial, and cultural topics. Job search assistance, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) programs, and early childhood education resources are also available.

Beyond materials and digital access, the Gig Harbor Library hosts a diverse schedule of events. These include story times for babies, toddlers, and mixed ages, as well as creative and STEAM activities for teens and children. Adults can participate in book clubs, genealogy help, mindful movement classes, and attend legal help pop-ups from Tacomaprobono. The library features a 24-hour book drop and accepts book donations by appointment.

Located at 4424 Point Fosdick Drive, the library's hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
