Cougarwear

Cougarwear, located at 7700 Pioneer Way, Suite 202, is Gig Harbor's go-to destination for sports apparel and fan gear. While it started with a focus on Washington State University (WSU) pride, the store has expanded its inventory to include collegiate clothing and accessories for other Northwest schools such as the University of Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, Boise State, and Gonzaga. Seattle sports fans can also find merchandise for the Kraken, Mariners, Sounders, and Seahawks. The store provides apparel for all ages, from infants to adults.

Established in 2000 as an online business by WSU alumna Tracy Hacklin Dennis, Cougarwear opened its brick-and-mortar location in Gig Harbor following the 2008 financial crisis. The store aims to bring Pullman pride to alumni and fans across the region, offering a variety of licensed collegiate items including clothing, accessories, and gifts. Beyond apparel, the physical store is also a place to purchase several flavors of Cougar Gold cheese, directly from the WSU Creamery.

Cougarwear operates seven days a week, making it convenient for shoppers to find their favorite team's gear. The business is also committed to the community, offering a scholarship for high school students planning to attend Washington State University.
