The Gourmet Niche

The Gourmet Niche provides full-service catering for a variety of events, serving Gig Harbor and the broader Puget Sound area. Chef Bette Anne Curry, with over 30 years of experience, focuses on personalized service and innovative cuisine, using hand-chosen ingredients to create tailored menus for each client and their guests. She oversees every detail of an event, from preparation to presentation, working to ensure a successful experience.

Beyond catering, The Gourmet Niche also operates as a commercial kitchen rental facility. It offers a shared space equipped with commercial stoves, convection ovens, mixers, refrigerators, and large stainless steel work tables. This facility supports other local food artists, providing them with a licensed space for production, cooking, packing, and storage.

Chef Bette Anne Curry, born and raised in Tacoma, opened her first catering business in 2001. She established The Gourmet Niche in 2010 as a commissary kitchen, which also serves as the base for her catering operations. The Gourmet Niche is licensed by the Pierce County Health Department and WSDA. Those interested in catering services can schedule a consultation or tasting.
