Sunflower Farms Weddings & Events

Sunflower Farms Weddings & Events is a family-owned event venue located in Olalla, Washington, near Gig Harbor. The property at 12912 Shady Glen Avenue Southeast offers both indoor and outdoor settings for weddings and other special occasions. Founder Bill refurbished the main barn using repurposed materials, creating a rustic yet refined space with high ceilings, wooden beams, and chandelier lighting. The venue can host up to 175 guests for events and up to 160 for formal seated meals in the barn.

Couples can choose to exchange vows outdoors at The Terrace, a garden area surrounded by trees, or within the barn itself. The venue also features a Cocktail Porch for post-ceremony toasts and The Hall, another reception space with an outdoor terrace. Private get-ready suites are available for the bridal party and groomsmen.

Bill's daughters, Abby and Madison, serve as venue coordinators, assisting with event planning, setup, and cleanup, and providing tables and seating. Sunflower Farms welcomes outside vendors for catering, entertainment, and decor, offering flexibility for personalized events. On-site parking is available for guests. The venue began hosting weddings in June 2022.
