Fox Island Chapel

The Chapel on Echo Bay, located at 400 6th Avenue on Fox Island, Washington, is a historic and scenic venue for weddings, receptions, and various other events. Originally established as the Congregational Church of Sylvan in 1900, this century-old chapel now operates as a non-denominational facility. It is owned, maintained, and operated by the Fox Island Chapel Preservation Society, a community-based non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving the site as a heritage center and providing cultural programming.

Situated at the water's edge of Echo Bay, the chapel offers romantic views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound. For wedding ceremonies, couples can choose between the intimate sanctuary or the waterfront garden, both capable of seating up to 120 to 130 guests. The venue includes a newly remodeled 1890s-style reception hall on the waterfront level, suitable for entertaining 60 to 70 seated guests indoors, with additional space on the adjacent waterfront garden for outdoor dining, weather permitting.
